Some more weeks and the biggest celebration is coming again! Christmas spirit is already starting in our home. Why? I am finally done with my Christmas decors. I am happy that our little dining room and living room are already full of  decorations. I know this is quite too early to do and hang the Christmas decors  but I don’t want to get stress in doing it at the last minute. I have all the things   I need, so I decided to put it earlier.

Our Christmas tree is already up. I also put some decors on our entrance door. The windows in the living room has Christmas lights and some tinsels and Christmas balls made of colored glass were already hanged around. Some cookies were already prepared for the Christmas eve.  These might not be the most expensive decorations but seeing them around our home already makes me happy. (more…)

I believed you have seen the news about the recent flash flood in Sardinia and other areas in Italy. I heard over the news that 17  people were dead due to this flash floods. Many businesses, cars, homes and other properties were also damaged.

Would you think all of these calamities like the recent typhoon in the Philippines and the flash floods in the different countries are caused by global warming? (more…)

Many people know that  “cigarette smoking is dangerous to our health”. Inspite of this  warning,  which we can read in most packaging of  cigarettes,   especially in the United States, Canada, some countries in Europe, India, Singapore, Hongkong, Australia and other countries worldwide, people are still consuming  cigarettes.

Hello November! Winter is inevitable and it is about to come. Are you ready for it? Autumn is a sign that the next cold season is about to come. I can say, I am  already for winter. How about you?

Last month, I already did a checking of my winter stuffs like sweaters, winter boots, socks, winter jackets, scarfs   and everything I need for the coming winter season. I found out that I need some winter jackets because most of the ones I have are having bad zippers. I mean the zippers are broken or not functioning well anymore. My other old winter jackets also don’t fit to me anymore.

Hello November! I guess, you are bringing cold temperature now. The last day of October was quite perfect because the weather was really friendly and the sun was shining the whole afternoon.

One of the laptops I was looking-up yesterday in an electronic store in the mall.

Yesterday while preparing to cook for lunch, a dear friend called me inviting me to go out with her window shopping. I believed you what I mean with window shopping. I wanted to buy a window but not that windows for the house but a new laptop with the newest version of windows program. Yes, I am planning to buy one. (more…)

I am glad that I live in a small village which is quite far from the temptation to go shopping everyday.  This way, I have the chance to save some money because I will not be tempted of buying unnecessary things. Of course  when  I want to,  I can drive to the nearest town  or city to go shopping anytime I want,  but I am avoiding it most of the times.  There are more  important things to lay your  money instead of buying unnecessary objects.

One of my weekly chores is to go grocery shopping.  Being the secretary and finance officer in the house (that’s how I call myself because I am the one doing the accounting, budgeting and shopping, lolz), it is one of my tasks to go grocery shopping. I also run some  errands like paying bills  at the bank,  buying medicines in drugstore and shopping all the things we need at home. (more…)

We have to consider some things when buying for lighting. Whether it is in our living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom or working room, there are some things we need to take into account when buying it.

Some of the most important things I consider are the price and quality. I believed,  we also have to pay  for  the price when we choose for the best quality. Sometimes, we can be lucky if we find cheap  ones that are also of good quality.

The hardware store in the next city also have some lighting to choose from. These are only some of their choices.
